Whenever I look at photos of my mother in the '80s — exaggerated eyes, rocking big, fluffy curls and bright lipstick, of course — she always laughs and says, with a noticeable tone of embarrassment, "Hey, it was the '80s! Heavy eyeliner also ruled supreme during the '80s, and I created a look suited for a "naughty, sexy woman" Pastels ruled in this decade, pale pinks, greens, blues and yellows, and if ever there was a color that showcased an era, it was the color pink/red for the 1980s. The eye look of the 1980s was essentially minimal, with little eye-shadow applied. Mascara on the other-hand was everyone’s favourite little accessory and a lot liner, majorly exaggerated and dramatic eyes were in trend. This trend is back again and with the bang.
