2017's biggest color trend

July 15, 2017

Picking a shade of green to wear isn’t as simple as taking a quick spin of the colour wheel. Whether you’re pale or fair or the colour of strong coffee, its important to understand what color works best for you.

-  As a general rule of thumb, those that are pale or fair do well with darker hues that contrast with the skin, such as bottle green, OLIVES green. Soft, pastel shades or bright colours like lime green should be avoided as these will only wash you out.
-  Anyone with olive or medium skin can wear most colours. That said, shades which are too close to your skin tone, like OLIVE green, should be avoided as these have a habit of blending in with the skin and making it look like you’re wearing a morph suit (or no clothes at all).
-  Lastly, guys with a darker complexion can try their hand at pretty much any colour. Use this advantage to make the most of bold, bright colours like jade green, but steer clear of anything that has brown undertones or risk it bleeding into the skin.

The best way to pair your green is with a neutral shade, it compliments the green and makes it stand out from the rest. Cream color, Ivory or Beige is a best example for it, So for the look I decided to pair my solid olive green, wrap around midi skirt with a Ivory color beautiful top from ans_asthaandsidharth which has a minimal but eye catchy gold foil lines on them along with button down detail at the back. This top is perfect for my look because neither it overpowers the entire look nor it makes the entire look sober, Infact it makes the look even more trendier and classy. To complete the look I paired it with an eye catchy piece of clutch.
