Monochrome outfits have often been mostly shunned in favour of something bright, bold and statement. But when styled just right, monochrome is by far the chicest – and easiest – colour combination to pull off.
The key to nailing this look is tracking down some key pieces, and working them top-to-toe.
There are many way you can simply pull of a monochrome look, by playing with solids but with details like I have, or putting in some textures or pattern to make some interesting element is running through the look. Since stripes and ruffles are one of the biggest trends this season to can also choose to add such elements in monochrome shades.
This Dress that I chose to wear for a brunch with friends, Is perfect because it gives you the freedom to play around , its simple yet chic because of its detail elements around the collar which is interesting and definitely takes more attention than the rest. To pair this detailed LBD I again chose to add a monochrome shade to my footwear and keep it in the same family colour.
SINCE I always like to play with colours and give at least 1 shade of colour to my entire look be it through my lips, accessories or hair, this time I tried to introduce 1 extra colour to the look which I blended even to my bags, shades and lips. If you want to keep your entire look monochrome you can simply choose a monochrome colour bag which could either be solid or patterned depending upon your outfit. For make up you can play around with a lot of kohl and mascara and highlight your brow bones and cheekbones. This perfect look you can wear for brunch as I did, or for a coffee or even for a movie day out.
